Job Summary

We are looking for the right person to join Inland Construction to oversee and become a major contributor to the growth and success of the division! This is an entrepreneurial role for a candidate that has the vision and ability to lead and also enjoys the day to day challenges of construction project management. At Inland, we believe culture is what truly makes us unique, so we are not only seeking a candidate with construction experience, but also an individual that aligns with our core values.  
This role requires a player/coach mentality. The right individual will not only manage projects, but also lead the Construction Department consisting of approximately 10 professionals.  

Our core projects include tenant improvements (retail, Class “A” office, and medical office projects up to approximately $2M) and ground-up construction (single story suburban industrial and retail projects up to approximately $10M).

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or similar.
    • 15+ years of experience in construction project management.
    • Experience estimating, bidding, and managing retail and Class “A” office tenant improvement projects.
    • Experience estimating, bidding, and managing ground-up construction projects.
    • Selection and management of subcontractors and oversight of contracts, change orders, budgets and schedules.
    • Management, leadership, staffing, and development of a Construction Department (including creation and implementation of departmental systems and processes).
    • Client relationship experience including internal and external business development.
    • Strong communications skills.
